Robin Van Persie will be offered an £18million deal to sign for
Qatari side Lekhwiya.
The Holland striker is facing an
uncertain future at Old Trafford with Louis van Gaal preparing a major overhaul
of his attacking options this summer.
Lekhwiya are managed by former
Swansea chief Michael Laudrup and they are ready to give RVP a three-year-deal
worth £6m a year.
Lekhwiya
boss Michael Laudrup has waded in with an £18million, three-year offer for the
forward.
The prospect of starring in the Middle East could appeal to the
31-year-old if United decide to end his spell at Old Trafford.
Van Persie has one year left to
run on his £220,000-a-week United deal and Turkish sides Fenerbahce and
Galatasaray have expressed an interest in the striker.
