Kenyan
rapper Nazizi After successfully losing more than 30 kilograms body weight
early this year, Kenyan rapper Nazizi Hirji, has resorted to learning some
boxing.
She is being trained by Tanzanian rapper Zola D who is
also her fitness trainer. She does a series of muscle sculpting exercises. She
has her own challenges when it comes to fitness and she said,”I miss my weights
but I have trust in the process. No excuses – pain is nothing. No pain, no
future.”
The
rapper, who shed weight in a span of five months, has in the past week
subscribed to kickboxing lessons from Tanzanian rapper Zola D, who doubles up
as her body fitness trainer.
She
captioned one of the photos: “This month we changed up the workout; we are not
weightlifting much, we are doing bodyweight exercises and kickboxing with Zola
D and Werrason Sanya; my two masters.”
The Jump and Shout hit-maker has, however, admitted she
has faced challenges coping with the new workout lessons.
“It’s so challenging, I can’t explain the pain in my
body; my arms, my wrists, my shoulders, my knees…”
Nevertheless, she has vowed not to give up saying: “I
miss my weights but I trust in the process. No excuses – pain is nothing. No
pain, no future.”
Seemingly the dancehall artiste is fully out to become
physically fit in every aspect; at least her effort is paying off.
Nazizi early 2015 divulged junk food and the love for
ice cream and chocolates posed her a serious health scare, prompting her to
lose weight.
She also did away with the baggy-jeans, tomboy look
which was her trademark appearance for 15 years of being in the music industry.
