Why Arsenal need Grzegorz Krychowiak?

The Poland international has emerged as Arsene Wenger’s most likely midfield target, with the Gunners missing out on the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia and Morgan Schneiderlin earlier on this summer.

Krychowiak tackes

Krychowiak is the main ball-winner in Unai Emery’s Sevilla team, with his 82 tackles won the third highest tally of any player in the Spanish top flight last season, winning the ball at an impressive 77 per cent success rate.

He has a fantastic reading of the game, making 97 interceptions in his 32 appearances. He is also a force in the air, winning 109 aerial duels at a success rate of 73 per cent – a higher rate than any other player to compete in at least 60 aerial battles.
Krychowiak made 204 tackles and interceptions last season, more than anyone else in the La Liga Division.

Krychowiak was born on January 29, 1990.

The Polish international believed to have a £22 m release clause in his contract.

Where Krychowiak can play?

Krychowiak can play as Centre Back, Central Midfield and Defensive Midfield.
