Manchester City signed Otamendi

Manchester City have signed Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi after City completed the £32million and agreed terms on five year contract while Chelsea have completed the £21million signing of Pedro from Barcelona on a four-year deal.

Manuel Pellegrini announced he had bought the 'best defender in La Liga' on Thursday. Otamendi had been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid but was unveiled as City's fifth signing following the arrivals of Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph, Enes Unal and Patrick Roberts.

Chelsea FC signed Pedro

The Blues swooped with the Spanish winger on the brink of moving to Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Chelsea signed Baba Rahman

Chelsea have signed left back Baba Rahman from Augsburg.

Manchester United have lost the signing of both Otamendi and Pedro.
