ARSENAL FA CUP WINNERS 2015 |
Arsene Wenger became just the second manager in the FA Cup’s
144-year history to win the trophy six times after Arsenal’s 4-0 win against
Aston Villa today.
Goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Per Mertesacker and
Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners a comfortable victory against Tim Sherwood’s
side and ensured the north Londoners retained the trophy for the second time.
The victory was Wenger’s sixth during his 18 years at Arsenal and
the win means he’s now joint with legendary Aston Villa boss George Ramsay with
six FA Cup final trophies to his name.
