Barcelona
midfield legend Xavi has announced he will leave the Catalan giants this summer
to join Qatari side Al Sadd.
Now
35 years old, Xavi joined Barca aged 11 and has been a regular part of
the first team since 1998, winning eight Liga titles and three Champions
Leagues. Another may be on the way on June 6.
He
is set to join Al Sadd—Raul's former club—on a two-year deal, the Spaniard
announced on Thursday.
